It's been a good month for Jennifer Worth, with three of her books about life in the East End making it into the top ten, presumably on the strengh of the recent BBC series of the same name; one of my Mum's personal TV highlights of 2012. I'm pleased to say I have now also been removed from my ignorance, and alerted to the movie adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's War Horse, by a 20ft poster. Before I Go to Sleep, dropping off the top spot, is one I'd really like to read; the amnesia plotlines sounds like it could make for a great thriller (I'm thinking Memento in book form).
