Clearly there's something to this Fifty Shades business. Yes, the media storm is anathema to me, and yes, I still despair at the lemming-like propensities of humanity, but quite clearly the collective imagination has been caught. So enjoy, but please do get over this fad quickly - if I have to write many more complaints against the series in these top ten lists I will soon have put more literary effort into denigrating the series than the author put into writing it judging by the reviews. Oh and look, there's some other series floating around too: The Hunger Games, A Song of Fire and Ice. Not to mention a couple of books that I've never heard of. Right, that's my commentary of this month's reading habits complete - anyone else feel they're becoming increasingly disgruntled? I think my true self may finally be seeping out.
