UK Bestsellers: January 2012
Before I Go to Sleep is completely new to me, released in paperback this month it has taken the charts by storm and rocketed to the top in the random post-Christmas period. Having garnered great reviews on its release last April it looks set to be one of the most-read thrillers of the year. Someone will have to enlighten me as to the renewed popularity of War Horse; has there been a film, or a TV adaptation? I see Stieg Larsson's crime trilogy as made a resurgence, anyone who knows my opinion of the levels of violence in those books will know my opinion about that, but on a much cheerier note, it's good to see a relic of Britain's past being enjoyed, the release of a facsimile of Bradshaw's Handbook gaining some really good press coverage.

I really enjoyed Before I Go To Sleep! It was one of the first books I actually paid for on my new Kindle :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, a Kindle - are you enjoying it? I've just jumped onto the iPad boat, and am loving that at the moment.
ReplyDeleteBefore I Go to Sleep seems to be the thing to read at the moment. I reckon I'll leave it a couple of years and give it a go then - I hate to be on trend ;)
I always welcome comments...
