Unsurprisingly, J. K. Rowling's new book has rocketed to the top of the charts all over the world. Equally unsurprisingly it has been met with a raft of luke warm reviews - the boy wizard money-making machine was always going to be a hard act to follow. I look forward to giving The Casual Vacancy a whirl sometime soon. Plenty of cook books making a showing, with everyone settling in for a comfy winter of warming, home-cooked dinners. Rick Riordan and David Walliams also taking an early lead in the Autumn/Winter sales for childrens' books.
