So in the run-up to Christmas Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is looking like the big winner, the latest installment topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Unsurprisingly the biography of Steve Jobs hangs around, and actually the top ten doesn't change greatly from October. Stephen King's hefty new work leaps into fourth position and, with a full month of sales, I wouldn't be surprised to see it climb even higher in December. The LEGO ideas book gets my creative juices flowing, my inner child awakened, but I'm reminded that I'm completely oblivious to youth trends of today as I've never heard of Skyrim, let alone been aware that a games guide was available for it. Time to look up some Xbox'ing friends and get back in the loop (or dig out my old lego, toss up really).
